LONDON (Alliance News) - Services and engineering group TP Group PLC said on Wednesday it has received an order worth GBP800,000 to supply carbon dioxide removal equipment by an unnamed overseas shipbuilder.
The equipment is to be fitted to a new-build submarine, and will be built at the group's engineering facility in Portsmouth, UK.
The order represents the third order in a multi-unit export programme, and is expected to be delivered in 2019.
"This order is a recognition of the close working relationships that our Technology and Engineering team has established with several global prime contractors. We strive to be a trusted partner that can supply safe, reliable and technically advanced equipment to a global audience, and through orders like this we can continue to build our position in overseas markets," said Chief Executive Officer Phil Cartmell.
