(Alliance News) - Totally PLC on Thursday said its Urgent Care division has secured multiple contract extensions, which are worth around GBP14 million in total.
Totally is a Derby, England based provider of healthcare, corporate fitness and wellbeing services. Its shares were up 4.9% to 38.28 pence each in London on Thursday midday.
The company's Urgent Care division is made up of Vocare Ltd and Greenbrook Healthcare Ltd.
The division has signed five contract extensions across the north east of England and Yorkshire for the continued delivery of GP out of hours and clinical assessment services. The contracts will run until March 31, 2023 and are valued at around GBP7.3 million in total.
Urgent Caren has also renewed a contract for the continued delivery of an urgent treatment centre in south east London, valued at around GBP6.4 million. This will also run until March 31, 2023.
"These extensions underpin recurring revenue by securing the continuation of existing contracts and demonstrate the excellent long-term relationships held between Totally and commissioners across the country," Totally said.
Further, the company announced that it has retained its "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission for three urgent treatment centres in London: Northwick Park Hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital, and Ealing Hospital.
It said that this reflects the company's commitment to patient care at a time of continued pressure across the healthcare industry.
