LONDON (Alliance News) - Totally PLC said Wednesday that its Totally Health Ltd subsidiary has extended its contract with Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group to provide additional Clinical Health Coaching services to patients diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
The contract extension is expected to generate additional revenues of GBP32,000, excluding VAT, over an eight month period, said Totally.
The new service adds to the Intensive COPD Clinical Health Coaching Programme that Totally Health already provides to Leicester City CCG, and provides a 'step down' programme for those patients who have successfully met all of their personal goals and are now able to better self manage their condition and avoid exacerbations, said the company.
"During the first 12 months of the original programme, total savings were identified by Leicester City CCG amounting to in excess of GBP700,000 from averted admissions," said Totally CEO Wendy Lawrence.
COPD is the name for a collection of lung diseases including chronic bronchitis, emphysema and chronic obstructive airways disease.
Shares in Totally were Wednesday trading 8.17% higher at 0.649 pence per share.
