LONDON (Alliance News) - Healthcare services company Totally PLC saw its shares surge on Tuesday morning after the company said its health subsidiary has won a clinical health coaching contract with the British Lung Foundation.
Totally will handle the contract on behalf of the British Lung Foundation, which is handling the coaching programme for Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group.
Totally Health will work with patients diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at a rate of 20 patients per month for 12 months. The contract is designed to help the patients avoid readmission to hospital by better managing their own condition.
Totally said the contract will generate revenue of around GBP65,000 over the 12-month period.
"As the number of clients we work with expands, we are confident that we can continue to deliver excellent results and help patients better manage their own conditions, thereby reducing patient visits to hospitals and GPs," said Totally Chief Executive Wendy Lawrence.
Totally shares were up 24% to 0.309 pence on Tuesday morning, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
