LONDON (Alliance News) - Totally PLC on Thursday said its physiotherapy services business Premier Physical Healthcare Ltd has been awarded a three-year activity-based contract extension with the NHS Swale Clinical Commissioning Group.
Totally, which provides out-of-hospital care services in the UK, said under the deal with group, comprised of GPs and healthcare professionals who commission healthcare services, its subsidiary will deliver physiotherapy services under the National Health Service "Any Qualified Provider" or APQ framework.
No financial details of the deal were given.
"This contract extension emphasises Premier Physical Healthcare's position as a market leading provider of physiotherapy services. We are excited to be supporting the NHS through its AQP framework and look forward to continuing to work with Swale CCG," said Totally CEO Wendy Lawrence.
"In addition, in line with our UK out of hospital healthcare focus, a market worth GBP20.00 billion per annum, we see the year ahead continuing to provide attractive opportunities for the Group's acquisition led buy-and-build strategy as we continue to target the NHS trend towards procuring the best possible services for patients in the open market through an outcomes-based commissioning approach," Lawrence added.
Shares in Totally were untraded on Thursday, having last traded at 54.02 pence.
