Totally Annual Revenue Rises But Loss Widens On Acquisition Costs

28th Mar 2018 13:13

LONDON (Alliance News) - Totally PLC said on Wednesday revenue rose during 2017 though its loss widened due to acquisition-related costs.

The healthcare sector services provider said revenue for 2017 jumped to GBP21.4 million from GBP4.0 million the year before, as its pretax loss widened to GBP2.1 million from GBP1.5 million, largely due to acquisition-related costs.

Totally completed the acquisition of UK-based urgent care services provider Vocare in October last year.

The company, going forward, has changed its accounting reference date to March 31.

"This change aligns the group's accounting reference period with that of Vocare and the NHS and will allow comparability of group reporting across future periods," said Totally

The company said it will publish its results for the 15 months to March 31 by September 30.

"Across the group, our priority remains securing high-quality contracts with clear and sustainable margins and ensuring we provide a first-class service. As the outsourced healthcare market continues to evolve I am confident that our enhanced service offering and national footprint places us in a strong position to benefit and capitalise on the opportunities we begin to see emerging," said Chief Executive Wendy Lawrence.

Shares in Totally were flat at 26.50 pence on Wednesday.
