(Alliance News) - Schroders PLC on Thursday said assets under management as at September 30 was GBP536.3 billion, up 2.0% from GBP525.8 billion on June 30.
The company's asset management unit saw AuM rise 2.0% to GBP469.5 billion from GBP460.1 billion, while the wealth unit saw a 1.7% rise to GBP66.8 billion.
Institutional and Solutions - two of the company's largest divisions - were major contributors to AuM growth. The smaller Mutual Funds and Private Assets & Alternatives however also saw asset growth in the quarter.
At the end of the first half to June 30, the company held GBP525.8 billion in assets under management, 5.1% higher from GBP500.2 billion at January 1.
Shares in the FTSE 100-listed asset manager were down 2.2% at 2,735.00 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
