LONDON (Alliance News) - Ryanair Holdings PLC on Wednesday said its traffic rose 13% in May as the company carried 14.1 million passengers in the month.
In the same month of 2018, the Irish budget airline transported 12.5 million passengers.
Excluding the contribution of Austrian airline Lauda, which Ryanair acquired in December, the airline's traffic was up 8% to 13.5 million customers.
On a rolling annual basis, Ryanair's traffic was up 10% in May to 144.9 million passengers from 132.1 million a year prior.
In May, Ryanair operated almost 78,000 scheduled flights.
Ryanair shares were trading 0.4% lower at EUR10.50 each early Wednesday morning.
