TOP NEWS: Retail pair and under-pressure Vistry booted out of FTSE 100

4th Dec 2024 18:15

(Alliance News) - Frasers Group PLC has been relegated from the FTSE 100 index in its latest quarterly shuffle alongside two constituent peers, housebuilder Vistry Group PLC and variety goods retailer B&M European Value Retail SA.

Heading into London's blue-chip index is St James's Place PLC, which has seen its share price soar 75% in the last six months. Alliance Witan PLC and Games Workshop Group PLC have also been promoted.

The relegated FTSE 100-firms will be joined in the FTSE 250 by a host of new additions, namely Deliveroo PLC, Oxford Nanopore Technologies PLC, Ferrexpo PLC and Diversified Energy Co PLC.

PZ Cussons PLC, PureTech Health PLC, Ceres Power Holdings PLC and Close Brothers Group PLC would all be deleted from the index.

FTSE Russell confirmed that all changes from this review will take effect from market open on Monday, December 23.
