LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 100-listed National Grid PLC on Wednesday said it has made interim Chief Financial Officer Andy Agg's position permanent.
Agg has been acting CFO since July, having previous headed up National Grid's UK finance operations. His permanent appointment is effective from the start of 2019.
Chief Executive John Pettigrew said: "Andy has done a great job since stepping into the role on an interim basis in July and I am personally delighted he has now been formally appointed to the role.
"With his broad experience in operational and corporate finance roles and deep knowledge of National Grid, Andy is well placed to help steer the company through the next phase of its evolution."
Shares were 1.6% higher on Wednesday at a price of 840.00 pence each.
