TOP NEWS: London Stock Exchange Group Poaches Johnson Matthey CFO Manz

25th Jun 2020 08:42

(Alliance News) - London Stock Exchange Group PLC on Thursday said it has poached Anna Manz, the current Johnson Matthey PLC chief financial officer, as its own CFO.

Manz departs London-based speciality chemicals company Johnson Matthey after close to four years, stepping down November 20 - the day before Johnson Matthey's interim results publication. The search for her successor has begun.

At stock exchange and clearing operator London Stock Exchange Group, Manz replaces outgoing CFO David Warren starting November 21. She will report to LSEG Chief Executive Officer David Schwimmer.

LSEG said back in October that Warren would be leaving by the end of 2020. It said at the time that he would stay on through the close of the company's proposed acquisition of market data firm Refinitiv.

Manz's previous roles include 17 years at drinks company Diageo PLC in various finance roles, including chief strategy officer and executive committee member. She is currently a non-executive director at broadcaster ITV PLC.

At London Stock Exchange Group, Manz will receive a GBP650,000 salary and pension allowance of 10% of salary. She also can participate in the firm's annual bonus plan, which has a target of 100% of salary. She also will receive awards as compensation for remuneration forfeited from Johnson Matthey.

Shares in London Stock Exchange Group were up 0.1% at 8,028.00 pence in London on Thursday morning. Johnson Matthey's shares were down 2.1% at 2,032.00p.
