TOP NEWS: Just Group CFO Steps Down, Search For Successor Underway

1st Oct 2018 09:03

LONDON (Alliance News) - Just Group PLC said Monday Chief Financial Officer Simon Thomas will step down from his role at the end of October.

Thomas will be replaced by Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of UK Corporate Business David Richardson in an interim capacity.

Richardson was previously chief financial officer of Partnership Assurance Group from 2013 to 2016.

The FTSE 250-listed financial services company said the search for Thomas' successor is underway and an announcement will be made in due course.

Chairman Chris Gibson-Smith said: "On behalf of the board I would like to take this opportunity to thank Simon for his leadership and significant contributions during his time at Just, including his key role in helping the business through the process of responding to CP13/18. We wish Simon the very best for the future.

"I would also like to thank David for taking on the role as interim chief financial officer. We are very fortunate to have someone with his experience and deep understanding of Just Group who can step into the role and ensure the business remains in capable hands during the interim period."

Shares in Just Group were down 6.7% Monday at 82.50 pence each.
