TOP NEWS: Experian Promotes Non-Executive Director Rogers To Chair

29th May 2019 07:55

LONDON (Alliance News) - Experian PLC said Wednesday it has raised Non-Executive Director Mike Rogers to chair of the FTSE 100-listed credit checking agency, with effect from July 24 at the company's annual general meeting.

Rogers will be succeeding Donald Robert, who will step down on the same date after five years in the role to take up the same position at London Stock Exchange Group PLC.

Rogers has been a non-executive director at Experian for two years since 2017, and is also a non-executive director at Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC.

His most recent executive role was as chief executive officer of financial services firm LV= Group for ten years, from 2006 to 2016.

"Mike has deep financial and regulatory experience at leading organisations, and the board believes he is the right cultural fit to lead the Experian board, and has strong credibility within the business and with key stakeholders. We ran a thorough process to ensure we identified the very best candidate to lead Experian, and Mike is the unanimous choice of the committee and the board," said Experian Deputy Chair George Rose.
