(Alliance News) - Insurer Admiral Group PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed the chair of Experian PLC, Mike Rogers, as its own new board chair, subject to shareholder approval at the Admiral annual general meeting on April 27.
Rogers is set to replace Annette Court, who became chair in 2017. In addition to chairing consumer credit checker Experian, Rogers is chair of pensions and investments provider Aegon UK and is a non-executive director of lender NatWest Group PLC. As an executive, Rogers was chief executive officer of insurer LV= from 2006 to 2016.
Admiral shares were 0.3% higher at 2,209.00 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon, while Experian shares were up 0.1% at 2,946.00p each.
