TOP NEWS: Domino's Pizza hires Just Eat's Edward Jamieson as new CFO

11th Jul 2022 08:20

(Alliance News) - Domino's Pizza Group PLC on Monday named Edward Jamieson as its new chief financial officer, who is set to join the company and board of directors in October.

Jamieson most recently served as UK & Ireland regional finance director at food delivery firm Just Eat Takeaway.com NV, and will replace current interim CFO David Surdeau, who joined the pizza delivery chain in November 2021.

Jamieson joined Just Eat in 2018 as UK finance director and was recently promoted to the UK & Ireland regional finance director role.

Commenting on Jamieson's role at Just Eat, Domino's said: "In addition to playing a pivotal role in negotiating exclusive supplier arrangements with many high street restaurant brands, Jamieson also transformed the way Just Eat uses business intelligence and analytics to make data-led decisions."

Prior to Just Eat, Jamieson had senior finance roles at Amazon.com Inc and Diageo PLC.

Chair Matt Shattock said: "We are delighted to have attracted a CFO of Edward's calibre to Domino's. He brings a great blend of senior financial experience and a background in big consumer, digitally led brands which is exactly what we need to continue growing the Domino's business.

"With Edward further strengthening our excellent leadership team, and a clear strategy for the future in place, I'm confident we can continue to deliver strong results, delight our customers, and support our world-class franchisees," Shattock added.

Domino's Pizza shares were up 0.5% at 289.96 pence in London early Monday.
