(Alliance News) - Diageo PLC on Thursday announced it intends to delist from the Euronext Paris and Euronext Dublin next month, following a review of volumes, costs and administrative requirements.
Diageo is a London-based brewer and distiller with brands including Guinness, Baileys, Tanqueray, Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff and Captain Morgan.
The company said it plans to delist from the Euronext Paris on or around May 26, and from Euronext Dublin on or around May 30.
The announcement comes two weeks after Diageo announced that Chief Executive Officer Ivan Menezes will retire from his role on June 30, with Chief Operating Officer Debra Crew at the helm from July. She is the former CEO of cigarette maker Reynolds American Inc.
Diageo added that its listings on the London Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange will not be impacted.
