(Alliance News) - Coca-Cola HBC AG on Wednesday said it has appointed Ben Almanzar as its new chief financial officer with effect from April 1.
The FTSE 100 firm said Almanzar will replace current CFO Michalis Imellos who will step down from the role at the end of the first quarter.
Coca-Cola HBC said Almanzar has a "proven track record" and broad industry experience having spent the last the last ten year at Mars Inc. He has also worked in a variety of finance roles at food company Nestle.

His strong strategic, leadership, financial and operational skills combined with his passion for talent development make him an excellent fit with us. I am looking forward to working alongside Ben as we lead our business to deliver sustainable growth," said Chief Executive Zoran Bogdanovic.
Shares in the soft drinks bottler closed down 2.1% at 1,927.75 pence on Wednesday.
