LONDON (Alliance News) - British Land Co PLC on Friday said it and joint venture partner Oxford Properties have secured a new tenant for the Leadenhall Building in the City of London, known as 'The Cheesegrater'.
The pair have signed a lease agreement with Clydesdale Bank, part of CYBG PLC, for Level 15 at the building, which is now 98% let or under offer.
Clydesdale Bank has signed a fifteen-year lease for the 17,300 square foot floor. British Land didn't provide financial details of the lease.
"We have seen strong demand for space at The Leadenhall Building, and have been very pleased to secure long-term commitments from blue-chip occupiers, such as Clydesdale Bank. With just one floor available, we anticipate that the building will be fully let ahead of schedule later this year," said British Land's Head of Offices and Residential Tim Roberts.
