TOP NEWS: British Land Appoints Former ARM Finance Chief As Chair

11th Mar 2019 15:15

LONDON (Alliance News) - British Land Co PLC said on Monday it has promoted Non-Executive Director Tim Score to chair with effect from July 19.

He will be succeeding John Glidersleeve, who is stepping down after six years in the role and 11 years with the FTSE 100-listed real estate investment trust.

Score has been a non-executive director in British Land for five years, since 2014.

His most recent executive role was at semiconductor and software company ARM Holdings, where he was chief financial officer for 13 years from 2002 to 2015.

"British Land is a great business, led by a team of exceptional people and it has been an honour to serve on the board, especially as chairman for the last 6 years. I am proud of the significant progress we have made as a team over that time and will step down from the board in the summer with the business well positioned for the future. I wish everyone at British Land every success," Glidersleeve said.

Shares in British Land were down 0.3% at 592.60 pence on Monday.
