LONDON (Alliance News) - Aviva PLC said Wednesday that Chief Financial Officer Tom Stoddard will step down from his role and from the FTSE 100 insurer's board from the end of June.
Stoddard - CFO since 2014 - will be replaced by Aviva UK Insurance CFO Jason Windsor on an interim basis, with Stoddard remaining at Aviva until the end of 2019 in order to "support an orderly transition."
"Tom is a tremendous leader and has played a major role in delivering Aviva's financial turnaround, significantly strengthening the group's capital position," Aviva Chief Executive Officer Maurice Tulloch said. "After five successful years at Aviva, he leaves with my best wishes and those of Aviva's board."
Windsor has been at Aviva since 2010 and has "extensive" experience of the firm after serving ina number of different senior roles.
Shares in Aviva were 0.5% lower at 415.70 pence on Wednesday.
