(Alliance News) - Aveva Group PLC on Wednesday said it has now received almost all antitrust and regulatory clearances required ahead of data management software firm OSIsoft LLC's acquisition completion, due to close in February 2021.
The only remaining exceptions to this are antitrust approvals in Austria and Brazil and the approval of the Committee on Foreign Investments in the US, or CFIUS.
The FTSE 100 information technology firm said antitrust clearance in Austria is expected on Friday, while the review procedure for antitrust approval in Brazil is ongoing and clearance is expected by the end of January 2021.
The review procedure of CFIUS is still ongoing and approval is expected around February 1, 2021.
In November, Aveva said it will pay USD5.0 billion for the acquisition of OSIsoft.
Shares in Aveva were up 1.2% at 3,202.00 pence in London on Wednesday.
