LONDON (Alliance News) - Top Level Domain Holdings Limited Tuesday said that it had launched a priority reservation service for new generic top level domains through its business Minds + Machines Registrar Limited.
This will allow users to make a refundable payment to reserve domain names on a first-come, first-served basis ahead of the formal launch of a new generic top level domains. This service will initially included five new generic top level domains awaiting launch - .ceo, .best, .casa, .cooking and .horse.
A top level domain name is the suffix of an internet address, such as .com or .net, which are designated for management to approved organisations by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
Shares in Top Level Domain were trading down 4.1% at 17.50 pence Tuesday morning.
