LONDON (Alliance News) - Top Level Domain Holdings Ltd. said Monday that top level domain name .KIWI, owned by its client Dot Kiwi Limited, had passed pre-delegation testing from the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the penultimate step towards the domain name going live online.
A top level domain name is the suffix of an internet address such as .com or .net which are designated to approved organisations to manage by ICANN. Pre-delegation testing is used to ensure that applicants have the capacity to operate the domain name under certain technical and operational criteria.
Shares in Top Level Domain Holdings were trading up 8.1% at 16.22 pence Monday morning.
