Toople Signs Telecom Agreement With London-Based Bakery For Two Years

LONDON (Alliance News) - Toople PLC on Monday signed a new contract with a London-based bakery, to provide full telecom services to its retail sites and headquarters.

The bespoke telecom services provider did not name the new client, but said it will fully migrate from FTSE 100 telecommunications company BT Group PLC within the next ten working days.

The contract was signed for a minimum of two-year period, the group said.

Under the contract, Toople will provide the broadband, telephony and mobile Wi-Fi services to 52 bakery retail sites and to the company's headquarters.

Toople Chief Executive Officer Andy Hollingworth said: "I am delighted to report the continuing sales success of our business offering for the SME market. This is a significant contract for us, not only in terms of the number of outlets to which we will be supplying our services, but also in winning this business from their incumbent provider, BT. The depth of our telecoms experience, our UK based sales support team and our fixed price contract terms were major factors in the client's decision to move to us."

The stock was up 5.3% at 1.00 pence per share on Monday.
