LONDON (Alliance News) - TMT Investments PLC Friday said it has invested in a mobile and web-based discovery service aimed at helping people adopt everyday technology in an easy and interactive way.
In a statement, TMT said it has invested USD200,000 in Israel-based Drippler Ltd, which provides users with daily tech tips and recommendations, ranging from new apps, products and features to how-to's and various updates.
TMT said its investment represents a 1.86% stake in Drippler's fully diluted equity capital.
Boasting more than 5.5 million users, Drippler has been recommended by Samsung, ASUS, Verizon and AT&T, and was selected by Google as one of the Best Apps of 2013, TMT said.
Drippler was founded by Chief Executive Matan Talmi, Chief Product Officer Dotan Galron, and Chief Technology Officer Ronen Yacobi.
They began working together 14 years ago when serving at the Israel Defense Forces' technology unit.
TMT Investment shares were untraded Friday. They were last quoted at USD1.75 per share.
