LONDON (Alliance News) - TLA Worldwide PLC on Monday said it will partner with TEG Pty Ltd to organise, promote and deliver the 2016 International Champions Cup in Australia, with both the champions of Italy's Serie A Juventus and North London Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur to compete in the tournament.
TLA, an athlete representation and sports marketing business, said it will be the second ICC it will be holding in Australia, following the tournament's debut in July.
"In its first showing, the ICC tournament proved itself to be a must-attend event for fans, and an attractive tournament for overseas teams. The event was a great success that further established TLA's position in the region and proved our ability to host world-class sporting spectacles," TLA Worldwide Chairman Bart Campbell said.
The three matches will take place at the 100,000-capacity Melbourne Cricket Ground between July 23 and 29.
Shares in TLA were untraded on Monday shortly after midday, having closed at 43.50 pence on Friday.
