(Alliance News) - Time Out Group PLC on Friday said its new market has opened to the public in Osaka, Japan.
The London-based global media and hospitality business said the Osaka site was its eleventh food and cultural market, and its first in Asia.
It said there were a further five management agreements signed - alongside one owned and operated site - due to open between 2025 and 2027, with more in "advanced negotiations".
Markets in New York, Budapest, Vancouver and Abu Dhabi are set to open in 2025, with further openings in Prague and Riyadh in 2027.
Time Out said the Osaka site has 17 kitchens and two bars, and was set up in partnership with Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp.
Shares in Time Out were down 1.0% to 34.15 pence in London on Friday afternoon.
