(Alliance News) - Tiger Resource PLC said on Tuesday it sold 11,500 shares in miner Anglo American PLC.
The shares, sold on Monday, generated net proceeds of GBP258,647 for Tiger Resource. The funds will be used both for general working capital and to target new investments in the natural resource sector.
Tiger said it received dividend income totalling around GBP8,804 from Anglo American in 2018.
Tiger Resource shares were untraded on Tuesday at 0.275 pence each. In London, Anglo American shares ended down 0.1% at 2,263.625p each while in Johannesburg the stock closed down 0.6% at ZAR401.34.
