(Alliance News) - Thruvision Group PLC on Thursday said it has secured a USD600,000 contract from the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority to supply worker screening systems for Orlando International Airport in Florida.
The Abingdon, UK-based company said the contract underscores "growing demand for aviation worker screening solutions that improve compliance, operational efficiency and the employee screening experience."
This contract follows a previous contract announced in December 2025 to supply aviation worker screening systems at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and brings the total number of US airports using Thruvision systems to five.
GOAA's contract with Thruvision calls for five 81-series systems to support aviation worker screening operations, and will include battery-powered bases only available for 81-series products. The systems are to be delivered by March 31, 2026.
"This order reinforces our growing position in the US aviation market. Airports need worker screening solutions that are mobile, compliant and affordable without compromising security or throughput. Thruvision systems are designed to give operators that flexibility, helping them strengthen employee screening while keeping operations moving efficiently," said Kevin Gramer, senior vice president of Thruvision America.
Shares in Thruvision Group traded up 5.1% at 0.92 pence in London on Friday.
