(Alliance News) - Thor Mining PLC on Wednesday said it has secured AUD222,513, about GBP124,340, by way of a research grant from the Australian Department of Industry, Innovation & Science.
The exploration and development company said the grant covers a portion of expenditure for the year on eligible research activities on Australian projects.
"We are very pleased to have our cash reserves boosted by this research & development grant," said Executive Chair Mick Billing. "We are proceeding with all scheduled 2019 activities with the confidence that they are fully funded."
Thor shares were trading 4.8% higher on Wednesday in London at 0.55 pence each.
