Thomas Cook Non-Executive Tucker Leaves To Focus On Reckitt Benckiser

4th Jan 2019 11:36

LONDON (Alliance News) - Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC on Friday said it has asked Warren Tucker to remain on the board as a non-executive director for an additional 12 months.

Meanwhile, Thomas Cook Group PLC reported that Tucker has decided to step down from the board on May 9, to manage his increased non-executive commitments. Tucker has been with the travel company for six years.

The blue-chip producer of health, hygiene and home products said Tucker has agreed to stand for reelection at the annual general meeting and to extend his tenure on the Reckitt Benckiser board until May 2020.

Tucker, who served Reckitt Benckiser for nine years, had been intending to retire at the company's annual general meeting, expected to take place in May.

Tucker's other non-executive commitments include Tate & Lyle PLC, Survitec Ltd and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.

Reckitt Benckiser shares were trading 0.3% lower on Friday at 5,950.00 pence each, while Thomas Cook shares were up 9.2% at 38.84p.
