Third Point Offshore Investors Makes NAV Gains

LONDON (Alliance News) - Third Point Offshore Investors Ltd Tuesday said it saw increases in its net asset value per share across its three share classes in the third quarter.

Third Point Offshore Investors serves as a feeder fund to Third Point Offshore Master Fund via Third Point Offshore Fund Ltd.

Third Point Offshore Investors has three share classes, comprised of dollar, euro and sterling. Each of these experienced a similar increase in net asset value per share in the three months to September 30, with rise of 5.20%, 5.02% and 5.15%, respectively.

The investment manager said Third Point Offshore Fund, Ltd returned 4.8% in the third quarter, slightly underperforming against the market with approximately half of the market's equity exposure.

The dollar shares were Tuesday quoted up 1.9% at USD15.80. The euro shares were up 0.3% at EUR14.70. The sterling shares were up 1.0% at 1,485.00 pence.
