LONDON (Alliance News) - The People's Operator PLC on Tuesday said its new social network has now launched in beta form to a limited number of users.
The company said the network will create an online community to allow the company to expand its network of mobile users.
Elsewhere, the mobile virtual network operator said its trading in January was strong and said subscriber numbers increased in line with its expectations. Average revenue per subscriber and average customer acquisition costs are also in line.
"We are delighted to have met our target of launching the social network in beta mode at this stage of the year. We are now looking forward to launching in the US later this year and building on a strong start to 2015," said Mark Epstein, Chief Executive of The People's Operator.
Shares in the company were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at 126.00 pence.
