LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile virtual network operator The People's Operator PLC Monday expressed confidence for 2015, as subscriber numbers for 2014 increased ahead of its expectations.
The firm, which listed on AIM last December, saw subscriber numbers rise to 14,032 as at the end of 2014, compared to 5,800 subscribers as at June 30, 2014. It said that the growth was reflected in monthly subscriber revenues from pay monthly customers, which have increased 40% since the beginning of October 2014.
The People's Operator said that average revenue per subscriber and average customer acquisition costs remain in line with its AIM admission document.
"We are pleased to have achieved strong growth in our subscriber numbers and to have finished the year substantially ahead of our targets. This performance gives us confidence for 2015, as we launch our new online, cause-based community platform and expand into the US," said Chief Executive Officer Mark Epstein in a statement.
Shares in The People's Operator are untraded Monday at 140.00 pence.
