LONDON (Alliance News) - The Local Shopping REIT PLC Friday said it is in talks with a buyer about selling the two property holding companies it had previously flagged were for sale, as it responded to references in the property trade press to a potential sale of a portfolio of its property investments.
When the company put out its interim results in late May, it had said that two of its property holding companies were being marketed for sale.
"Discussions are progressing with a party for the sale of these subsidiaries, which may or may not lead to a transaction," it said Friday, without giving any further details.
The Local Shopping REIT shares were up 3.5% at 33.25 pence Friday morning.
