LONDON (Alliance News) - Platinum miner Tharisa PLC on Wednesday said its platinum group metals production fell quarter-on-quarter in the three months to the end of December.
Tharisa said it produced 34,800 ounces of platinum group metals, down from 39,100 ounces in the quarter to the end of September.
Chrome concentrate production in the quarter to the end of December was 322,200 tonnes, down 3.0% on the 332,200 tonnes produced in the prior quarter.
The group said both its platinum group metals and chrome concentrate production remain on track to meet its guidance for the financial year to the end of September.
Tharisa has guided to 147,400 ounces of platinum group metals production for the year and 1.3 million tonnes of chrome concentrate.
Shares in Tharisa were up 6.8% in London to 144.20 pence on Wednesday.
