LONDON (Alliance News) - Grocer Tesco PLC on Friday agreed to sell its Euphorium Bakery business for an undisclosed amount to coffee shop chain Soho Coffee.
The sale is the latest in a series of disposals by the FTSE 100-listed company, which has included the sale of its Dobbies Garden Centres, restaurant chain Giraffe and its Harris + Hoole coffee shops.
Tesco said it will now run the Euphorium Bakery franchises housed in its stores and staff will be offered the opportunity to transfer to the supermarket.
Shares in Tesco were down 0.2% at 163.65 pence on Friday.
