Tertiary Minerals Up After Good MB Fluorspar Drilling Results

11th Feb 2015 09:16

LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares in Tertiary Minerals PLC rose on Wednesday morning after the company posted positive results for the phase three drilling programme at the MB fluorspar project in Nevada.

Drilling at Holes 14TMBRC030, 14TMBRC032 and 14TMBRC033 all encountered fluorspar intersections and demonstration continuity of the mineralisation to the west of the central area of the prospect.

The group said mineralisation continues at the end of the holes and is open in all directions.

"Results from the Western Area, with multiple thick intersections of higher grade mineralisation continuing laterally and at depth, demonstrate its potential to add substantially to the existing Mineral Resource base," said Tertiary Managing Director Richard Clemmey.

Tertiary shares were up 12% to 4.2 pence on Wednesday morning.
