Tertiary Minerals Details Storuman Mine Permit In Sweden

2nd Mar 2016 10:02

LONDON (Alliance News) - Tertiary Minerals PLC Wednesday detailed the Storuman Exploitation Mine Permit that was approved by the Swedish Mining Inspectorate last month.

The permit is valid for 25 years from approval, and has been granted to extract fluorspar under the Swedish Minerals act. It covers 184.13 hectares.

Tertiary Minerals said the Swedish Mining Inspectorate has granted the permit by giving precedence to the national interest of minerals over the national interest of reindeer herding. This decision may be appealed to the Swedish Government, and the deadline for filing an appeal is March 24.

Shares in Tertiary Minerals were down 4.4% at 1.08 pence Wednesday morning.
