LONDON (Alliance News) - Tern PLC said Wednesday that its investee company, data security firm Crypotosoft Ltd, has become an associate of the International Telecommunications Union.
The ITU is a United Nations agency for the establishment of increased global internet security standards focused on the growing internet-of-things space.
"With the influx of Internet-connected devices impacting our daily lives, it is crucial that security standards are put into practice. Users should feel at ease that their personal data is safe, no matter where in the world they live," said Chairman of Cryptosoft Al Sisto in a statement.
Shares in Tern were up 5.2% at 19.20 pence Wednesday morning.
