Tengri Resources Says Recently Appointed Chairman Gary Lewis Resigns

19th Oct 2015 07:24

LONDON (Alliance News) - Tengri Resources PLC Monday said Executive Chairman Gary Lewis has resigned with immediate effect, only months after joining the firm in April.

The company did not state why Lewis had decided to leave the company but said it intends to appoint a replacement "in due course".

At the end of September, the company reported a pretax loss in the six months ended June 30 of USD2.0 million, narrowing from USD3.6 million a year earlier after booking a smaller foreign exchange loss.

The company is currently focused on the Taldybulak gold and copper project in the Kyrgyz Republic, where it has completed eleven diamond drill holes as part of the first phase of drilling.

Tengri shares were untraded at 3.30 pence per share on Monday morning.
