LONDON (Alliance News) - Film and television production company Ten Alps PLC saw its shares rise strongly Wednesday morning after it said it has renewed a deal with Transport for London.
Under the renewed deal, worth around GBP1 million per year, Ten Alps will create and manage a digital road safety educational campaign for pre-school children on behalf of TfL.
The GBP1 million value of the deal is around 30% more than the value of Ten Alps' previous contract with TfL and will start on April 1 on an initial term of 3.5 years, with the potential for the deal to be extended for a further three years.
"Winning the TfL contract is a significant step in the creation of a much larger content marketing and communications business at Ten Alps," said Ten Alps CEO Mark Wood. "Our success is a reflection of the superb story-telling and digital design skills in our Ten Alps Communicate business unit."
Shares in Ten Alps were up 27% to 0.825 pence on the news, one of the best performers in the London Main Market in early trade on Wednesday.
