LONDON (Alliance News) - Machine-to-machine communications provider Telit Communications PLC on Monday said it has entered into a software licence and reseller agreement with German software group SAP SE and said trading so far in 2016 has met its expectations.
Telit said it has entered into an agreement for SAP to licence and resell the Telit deviceWISE Internet of Things platform. The platform will be integrated with SAP's HANA platform and will be used in industrial settings for remote machine monitoring and control.
"Our collaboration with SAP creates a new way for companies to onboard to the Internet of Things. We look forward to serving new and existing customers across different industries and markets worldwide," said Telit Chief Executive Oozi Cats.
Separately on Monday, Telit said trading in 2016 to date has been in line with its expectations, leaving the group on track to hit its expectations for the full year and deliver double-digit growth in revenue.
