LONDON (Alliance News) - Internet of Things technology company Telit Communications PLC on Tuesday said it has secured certification from a US mobile company and has joined the supplier base of Deere & Co, the US agricultural, construction and forestry equipment company.
Telit said its long-term evolution model has been certified for use on the unnamed US mobile carrier's North American LTE wireless networks.
Telit said the CAT-1 module is the first in its class to be certified by the mobile company.
Telit also said it has been selected by Deere & Co's John Deere business to implement the deviseWISE industrial Internet of Things platform within Deere's factory operations.
No financial details on either deal were disclosed.
Shares in Telit were up 1.3% to 199.25 pence.
