LONDON (Alliance News) - Telit Communications PLC said Wednesday it has appointed Executive Chair Paolo Dal Pino as chief executive officer and Non-Executive Director Simon Duffy as non-executive chair with immediate effect.
Pino has been executive chair at the Internet of Things products provider since September 2018, while Duffy has been a non-executive director since June 2017, and had been chair on an interim basis from June to September 2018.
Prior to joining Telit, Pino was chief executive officer of industrial tyre business Prometeon Tyre Group UK Ltd for a year from 2017 to 2018.
"Paolo's appointment provides the group and all our stakeholders with continuity. He has been driving the business over the last nine months, including the rationalisation of our operational structure and the better integration of our products and services," Duffy said.
Shares in Telit Communications were up 0.5% at 165.00 pence on Wednesday.
