Telit Communications Appoints Two New Non-Executive Directors

LONDON (Alliance News) - Telit Communications PLC said Monday it appointed Miriam Greenwood and Shlomo Liran as non-executive directors with immediate effect.

Greenwood - a qualified barrister - will also serve as chair of Telit's remuneration committee. Liran previously served as chief executive of Ericsson Israel, part of Ericsson AB.

"These appointments complete the board's transformation and enhance its capabilities with Miriam's financial markets and Shlomo's telecoms expertise," Telit Chairman Richard Kilsby said.

"We are committed to applying the highest standards of corporate governance and transparency across the group and ensuring the reporting and controls are appropriate for this very complex business", Kilsby added.

Shares in Telit were 2.5% higher at 176.00 pence on Monday.
