(Alliance News) - Two Telecom Plus PLC directors, including its Chair Charles Wigoder, sold GBP33.8 million worth of shares in the company, Peel Hunt said on Friday.
Wigoder and Non-Executive Director Melvin Lawson sold 3.2 million shares at 1,350 pence each. The stock represents about 4.1% of the electricity, broadband and mobile services provider. Only 2.5 million shares were initially planned to be sold, though this was upsized "due to strong investor demand".
The London-based firm was trading 3.4% lower at 1,397.10p each in London on Friday morning.
The placing was conducted through an accelerated bookbuild, arranged by Peel Hunt and Numis Securities.
Wigoder's stake in the company following the disposal is 12%, and Lawson owns 1.8% of Telecom Plus.
