(Alliance News) - Shares in Tekcapital rose on Monday after the company said it has begun trading on the US OTCQB Venture Market.
The stock was trading 23% higher at 20.25 pence each on Monday morning in London.
The intellectual property investment company stated its shares will continue to trade on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange as well as on the US market.
It noted it will trade on the OTCQB market under the ticker TEKCF from the start of trading in the US on Monday. It also added it has no SEC reporting requirements and will continue to rely on the announcements and disclosures it makes to the London Stock Exchange.
"Tekcapital's portfolio companies are rapidly building a presence in the US and as such we are delighted to be joining the OTCQB Market, with a view towards increasing our visibility to the investment community and broadening our shareholder base," said Tekcapital Chief Executive Clifford Gross.
