(Alliance News) - Tekcapital PLC on Wednesday said portfolio company Salarius Ltd has signed an agreement with natural food distributor iLevel Brands Inc as part of its launch of North American sales of its SaltMe! snack line.
Tekcapital has a 92% stake in Salarius, which develops and manufactures a low-sodium salt product known as MicroSalt.
"We are very glad to see that Salarius has signed an agreement with iLevel Brands Inc, a premier natural food broker for its SaltMe! crisps. This agreement should enhance market penetration and accelerate sales growth for the SaltMe! product line in the second half of 2020," said Tekcapital Executive Chair Clifford Gross.
Purchase orders and shipping of the product is expected to start in the second quarter of 2020 for all four flavour crisps that have been launched by Salarius.
Tekcapital shares were trading up 5.6% at 4.75 pence each on Wednesday morning in London.
