LONDON (Alliance News) - Tekcapital PLC Tuesday said it has entered into a reseller alliance with 2Market Information Inc, a deal that will result in Tekcapital's InventionEvaluator product being more widely marketed to universities and companies engaged in technology commercialization.
InventionEvaluator provides in-depth analytical reports that assess the commercial potential of new technologies and intellectual property, enabling clients to make more informed decisions regarding investments in new technologies.
US-based 2Market Information also provides resources for technology transfer professionals, and owns and operates Tech Transfer Central, which has more than 150,000 users in universities, labs, research facilities, law firms, investment and consulting firms, tech incubators, government agencies, corporations and other entities, according to Tekcapital.
As part of the alliance, 2Market Information will make the InventionEvaluator reports available to its customers and network members worldwide.
"The acquisition of InventionEvaluator has expanded our service offering and client base. To further expand its market penetration into universities and companies engaged in technology transfer we are very excited to have entered into a strategic alliance with 2Market Information Inc. We believe their large network of individuals focused on technology commercialization is a perfect fit with InventionEvaluator reports, which provide guidance on the marketability of newly developed technologies," Tekcapital Chairman Clifford Gross said in a statement.
Tekcapital shares were flat at 21.00 pence in London Tuesday morning.
